What is it?
Our premier conference brings together all manner of mummy bloggers from influential longterm bloggers to newbies just starting out to share ideas, learn the latest blogging techniques, bone up on technical expertise and discover how to work effectively with sponsors.
It's a one-day event held in London, with sessions devoted to the topics the modern blogger needs to know most. We'll have experts, blogging pioneers, demonstrations and lunch. Don't miss out!
Our philosophy
Our whole approach is to create a conference that's by bloggers for bloggers. Everyone is welcome. We are three bloggers, all from different backgrounds.
Sian runs her own PR business in the parenting sector, writes on Mummytips.com and even helps her son with his blog (TotallySonny.com). Jennifer is longtime journalist, works for the Times and is lead blogger on Alphamummy.com. And Susanna, a prolific blogger A Modern Mother and an ex-marketing director, founded British Mummy Bloggers, whose membership has mushroomed over the past year to nearly 1,000 UK bloggers.
You'll recognise many of the speakers, and even our website creator is a mummy blogger: the technologically savvy Liz at Violet Posy (www.violetposy.co.uk) built all you see here.
Our conference line-up, developed in conjunction with the British Mummy Bloggers site, responds to the most pressing and compelling issues for parent bloggers today. You told us what you're most interested in learning and doing at an event: talking about the writing, using SEO tips and tricks effectively, growing your traffic, meeting other bloggers.
So we've lined up panels and experts on everything from ethics to Twitter. And we've signed up sponsors interested in exploring new, innovative ways of working with parent bloggers and engaging with them.
Why go?
How much is it?
With the generous support of our sponsors, we've been able to keep the conference cost for attendees to £100 including VAT. Lunch as well as all coffee and tea breaks are included. (Let us know when you register of any dietary needs.)
What's the day like?
We've organised the day to include plenty of opportunities to debate and learn as well as network and meet other bloggers. And because no conference is complete without a party, after the last session we'll have drinks with a cash bar and more opportunities to debrief, download and chat with sponsors and other attendees in an informal environment.
